Chris is now serving for his second year with the Dominican Volunteers. Last year, he served in Chicago teaching ESL to refugees. Before becoming a Dominican Volunteer, Chris graduated from Molloy College on Long Island, Rockville Centre, NY in May of 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Adolescent Math and Special Education. Heavily involved in the college community and campus life, Chris was involved with many clubs on campus including, the rugby team, the Performing Arts Club, as well as serving as President for Math Club and Senior Class President for Student Government. Of course he could also tell you that he was greatly involved with Campus Ministries and the Dominican Young Adults group. "It's one of the reasons why I am who I am today."

This year, Chris shares community with Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters at the Penn Community in Atlanta. He is serving at Catholic Charities Atlanta as an employment specialist. He is providing employment services to refugees such as helping them find jobs, filling out applications, and preparing them for interviews. Chris has found a genuine desire to help with refugees in all aspects of their lives and wants to continue be a small part in their achievement of their hopes and dreams."
